Slickedit Pro 2021 (v26.0.1.0 640bit Qt4)
When hovering over a C++ overloaded function, the hint pops up showing the different overloads (see HoverOverloadFunction.png). When selecting to see the next overload, the hint pop up is removed and a blank box is displayed below were the cursor is located (see SelectNextHoverOverloadedFunction.png). This blank box remains on the screen until the editor window is closed and a new one is opened? This was working in v25. See SlickProgramInfo.txt for the program information.

Could you check in <slickedit-config>/logs/stack.log ?   It is possible that what you are seeing is the result of a Slick-C error that did not come to the surface when it happened.  I could not reproduce the problem on my machine, but I'll need to try it on Linux to be sure.

I am attaching your test source file for my own benefit.

Just reproduced it.  Required a little more trickery.  I'll see what's going on.

Thanks Dennis, keep me posted.

Note, the hover and overloaded function works fine on Windows 64-bit v26.0.1. Seems to only be an issue with the Linux version.

FYI, I did look and I have no stack.log file. The only log file is vs.log.
~/.slickedit/26.0.1/logs/vs.log

This will be fixed in the next hot fix for 26.0.1.  Thanks for reporting this, your example made it easy to get to the bottom of the problem.
