Python live errors in 26.0.2 seems to be off by 1

With 26.0.2, linux x64

When I have python live errors enabled.

Open file A.py
wait a few seconds for live errors
Open file B.py
wait a few seconds for live errors

It displays the errors of A.py when B.py is in the editor. Also in "source file" it is showing B.py, but the errors are from A.py.

This may only be happening when B.py has no errors. Try an A.py and B.py where 1 has errors, the other doesn't and go back and forth between them.

I haven't reproduced it yet, but I'll take a closer look just a little later today.

I had 2 SlickEdit IDEs open, maybe it had something to do with that?

Haven't tried yet with just 1 session.

Also it may take a few seconds for mine to run, I have a wrapper shell script that invokes pylint. I have seen the proper output in rteout but the wrong results in the window. Maybe there is some issue waiting for the output?

Thanks for the update, I think it is related to multi-session.  And it is probably hot-fixable, I'll let you know once I have something to try.

It ended up not being hot-fixable.  If you want to try it, I can build an installer with this fix plus the fixes Clark has delivered.
