Transfer Slickedit 2011 to new PC
« on: June 07, 2022, 02:00:47 PM »
I have SlickEdit 2011 (v16.0.3.0 64-bit) installed on a Windows 7 PC. I am transitioning to a new computer with Windows 10. I need to move SlickEdit over to the new PC but I can't find an install file for SlickEdit 2011. I know where the license file is, but that doesn't help if I can't get the software installed.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

If you don't get hold of an installer, you should be able to just copy the slick installation folder from "Program Files" on your old PC to your new PC.  Normally when you run the installer, it asks if you want your PATH environment variable updated to include the slick installation folder but I never do it and I don't have any problems.
