Doc comment expansion seems not working in beta3 and also 26.0.3.1
« on: September 25, 2022, 04:29:44 PM »
I have attached a screenshot of my  Documentation comments settings and "Edit Expansion".

Even though I have checked "Automatically expand doc comments", after I type '/**<space>' in a C++ file, it is not expanding.

The screenshot is from v27 beta 3. But I also observed same mis-behavior in 26.0.3.1

OK, looks like if I type <ENTER> after /** it will expand, but <space> after /** doesn't expand. I haven't used this feature for a while so forgot how it worked. I thought I remembered that typing a space after the /** would also expand but maybe I remember wrong?

It's not something I can remember off the top of my head either.

The doc comment expansion is on enter, but not space.    Looking back at a previous version, I don't see a way for it to have triggered on space without modifications.

Very likely I remember wrong, haven't done this in a while so my memory about it is distorted. I can use <ENTER> for this. Thanks.
