SE was in a state where it would immediately enter "Not Responding" lock-up on start-up. There was no getting past this point. It was also very difficult to kill in Task Manager. I suspect it is because in my last session I had files open from my WSL VM that were not getting resolved, but there was no recovery.
The solution to get back to normal came from a SE Support reply to a previous post:
Try this:
--Exit SlickEdit.
--In C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My SlickEdit Config\19.0.2\
--RENAME your vslick.sta file to something like vslick.sta.bak
--RENAME your vrestore.slk file to something like vrestore.slk.bak
--In the location of the SlickEdit Workspace/Project files (.vpw/.vpj) that you have opened in SlickEdit:
--DELETE the .vpwhist file.
--DELETE the .vtg file.
That should get you back into a stable state.
Best,
SlickEdit Support
