Thanks Dennis. I wasn't aware of the "First attempt uses prefix match only" option, I will check that out. That is indeed simpler then having many different commands/key bindings.

I am putting in a small fix to help with situations like this (Auto-Complete coming up even though it only found one exact match for the word under the cursor) for the next hot fix to 27.0.1.

I'm working on more fixes to make Auto-Complete less reactive, those will be in the next minor or major release.

This is something we plan on addressing in the next release (v28), maybe 27.0.2, but definitely in v28.  Auto-complete is a bit too reactive right now.  That's helpful, but not always.
