The select-code-block function for Clojure
« on: May 25, 2023, 08:10:13 PM »
I am not able to activate the select-code-block function for Clojure code in the latest version of SlickEdit on Windows 10. When I try to run this command, I get an error message saying "Command is disabled for this object." Is this functionality not supported for Clojure.

What is interesting is that double-clicking on the opening paren of a block selects the entire code block -- so SlickEdit knows how to select an entire block in Clojure code. What is the command associated with double-clicking on the opening paren then?

select-code-block isn't supported for Clojure yet. The double click feature is matching parenthesis which not specific to Clojure.

Clark: Thanks for your quick reply.

If the support for Clojure can be enhanced, the Clojure community will have a viable alternative to Emacs. Just saying...

It's doable. I'll look into it for v28.
