SlickEdit closes suddenly (28.0.0.6)

I'm running on Windows 10. I find that SlickEdit sometimes just closes. No error, nothing - one minute it's there, then it's gone. It can happen randomly, but there are two circumstances that tend to make it happen:

1. Re-tag (large?) project. Tag progress starts, then SE disapppears.
2. Goto references/definition/declaration and the Select Symbol dialog appears. Expanding Reference progress starts and then SE disappears.

Any ideas? What additional information would help diagnose this?

Look in your CrashDumps directory and see if there is a .dmp file for vs.exe.  On my Windows 10 system, it automatically gets written here:

C:\users\<username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps\

If there is one, we will take a look at it. PM me and use something like Google Drive to send a link to the .dmp file.

There might be a code mismatch. Most of the stacks aren't getting displayed.
