SlickEdit v29 license file ?

I have a registered licensed version of SE Pro v28 with the proper license file.

I downloaded the installer for v29 and that ran, but when I try to use my v28 license file it won't accept it.

How do I get a v29 license file?

Email sales@slickedit.com and include your v28 license file for upgrade pricing. The location of your license file is displayed in the Help>About SlickEdit... information.

I'm on maintenance. Is there a way I can download my v29 license, similar to the way it used to work, or do I need to email sales?


At least I think my employer has me on maintenance. I read in another thread that there is no longer a maintenance program?

SlickEdit stopped selling maintenance and support prior to the release of v28.

To get upgrade pricing, email sales@slickedit.com your license file.

If you have a current installation of SlickEdit, the location of your license file is displayed in Help>About SlickEdit...
