In order to keep my standard python setup clean I use virtual python environments (venv) to handle different sets of installed python modules and indeed to handle different versions of python.
However, SE supports one and only one path the the Python interpreter (as in "affects all projects and configurations") which means that I frequently have to go into the Python Options dialog to change the interpreter path. This is becoming tedious...
