Macro Recording
« on: December 29, 2024, 11:21:45 PM »
My cat walked on the keyboard and I could no longer edit anything, just getting some message about macro recording.
I ended being able to work after giving a kill and reloading slickedit. That is on Arch Linux.

How do I permanently disable this crap?

You could unbind any keys bound to "record-macro".

Your cat could do worse things than start macro recording.  Probably backup history is a good tool to use to check for unintended changes in your code.  If you get unexpected "macro recording" messages again you should be able to turn off the recording using a command in the macro menu.
