I recently upgraded to latest SlickEdit (Windows) hoping that it would solve a problem I've been having with prior version for a couple of years. I can't copy clipboard content from SlickEdit to windows in my VirtualBox sessions. I have to copy from SE to some other editor in my host PC and then copy/paste from that other editor to my VirtualBox screens. Every other app that I use top copy/paste between host and VM works fine. Is there some setting in SE that I can change to make the clipboard behave like other apps? Anyone else run into this same problem.

Is this Windows to Windows under VirtualBox?

Try turning off HTML format clipboards

Tools>Options>Editing>Selections>HTML format

I was hoping to be able to create a Windows virtual box VM but no luck so far. I did list the clipboard formats and compared to other applications. I would think the only ones that would matter would be UNICODTEXT and TEXT.

Not sure where my other reply went (to the question about 'windows to windows'). The answer to that one was 'Yes, this is between Windows 11 host and Windows 11 VM'.

My clipboard already had HTML unchecked in SlickEdit.

I just did another check and right now the clipboard is working, so it comes and goes. I haven't found a pattern yet, but it is only SlickEdit clipboard that stops working when it happens. I can copy SlickEdit to Visual Code and then Visual Code to VirtualBox when it happens.
