I'm using 29.0.4.

I noticed that when using the "Smart Open" window, when I hover over a file there a popup comes up showing me the file name and directory.

Is there a way to disable this popup?

I looked in Tools->Options->File Options->Open but I don't see an option there to disable this popup?

There isn't an option for displaying hover over help for clipped text from tree/lists in the tool windows.

I don't remember this "hover over help" in the Smart Open in v28, is this something new in v29?

Not new. Let me make sure we are talking about the same thing.

You using the Open tool window and hovering over the items in the list right?

I think there is a way to turn this off.

Tools>Options>Appearance>Tool Window & Toolbar Options>Show tool tips

It's under toolbars which is confusing but it seemed to work for me.

Yes

I was able to turn it off via: Tools>Options>Appearance>Tool Window & Toolbar Options>Show tool tips

Is there a way to do it via Slick-C?
