I just had a system crash where Windows did a hard restart. When SE reloaded, all the files I was working on were gone from SE (still on disc though), and the only files showing were the common ones I always have loaded. The More Files list looked like files I was working on from about three months ago. The Open dialog brought up a directory that I haven't been in for months, not the last directory I was working in. My toolbar icons and font size reset to the original microscopic size (4K monitors, gotta jack them up). Even the SE icons in both the Quick Start menu and the Pinned area of the start menu disappeared. There are probably more things but it will take time to find them.
I've exited and restarted the program before and the state was restored without problems. But the system crash seems to have put it in a kind of a reset state from back when I first installed the newest version (v30). I don't have multiple SE folders in the Program Files folder, being careful to uninstall the previous version right after my settings get imported into the new version, so accidentally running an older version can't happen.
