Newbie question, Turn on cursor overtype?
«

I would like Slickedit to type over the current marked block of text instead of leaving the original and iserting text next to it.
How do I set that?
Thanks.

Check 'Tools->Options->General->Select Styles': activate 'Delete selection before insert'
(if it's not greyed out)
if grey use cmdline:
set-var def_persistent_select D

If it is greyed out, you may want to change the select style. If this is the behavior you want, you may want "CUA".
