Show/Hide Lines Containing a Search String
« on: September 06, 2007, 01:43:15 PM »
The all command uses Selective Display to only show lines containing the search string. For example, to show only lines containing the word "copyright", open the SlickEdit command line and type all /copyright, then press Enter. Now all lines that contain the word "copyright" are shown, while lines that do not contain the word are hidden. An allnot command is also available to hide lines that contain the search string. Options are available for both commands. See "all" and "allnot" in the Help for more information (Help > Index).

To show all lines again, from the main menu, click View > Show All, or use the show_all command.
