"Not" in Brief regex
« on: September 10, 2007, 02:01:14 am »
How do you do "not" of an expression in a Brief regular expression?  In SlickEdit regex, ~X works, and in Unix regex (?!X) is documented but I have never tried it.  But there is no equivalent documented for Brief regex - is it just not implemented, or is is missing from the documentation?

There currently is no Not in our Brief regular expression syntax.  I'll add a feature request to add that to the Brief syntax, and will try to address it in a future release.
