Is UTF-16 = UTF-16LE in SlickEdit?
« on: October 10, 2007, 02:00:38 AM »
Hi,

I see the UTF-16 encoding supported in SlickEdit are
UTF-16
UTF-16, no signature
UTF-16 big endian
UTF-16 big endian, no signature

I don't see a selection for UTF-16 LE.  Is the UTF-16LE the default for UTF-16 here?

Also, what "Text, SBCS/DBCS mode" really mean? Is it equivalent to "ANSI" or "ASCII"?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
