A Search Shortcut: the Slash (/) Command
« on: October 11, 2007, 01:36:47 PM »
A fast way to search for a string is to use the slash command (/). The slash command is the same as the find command, providing the same functionality as the Find and Replace tool window. To use the slash command, simply open the command line and type /SearchString, where /SearchString is the text you want to find.

This probably works in VI emulation.
