You can invoke your operating system command line shell from within SlickEdit. From the main menu, click Tools > OS Shell, or use the dos command. If you’re running Linux, you can specify an alternate shell to invoke when you use the menu item or dos command, by setting the def_linux1_shell configuration variable to the shell you want to run (Macro > Set Macro Variable).
