navigate forward/backward

The standard toolbar contains buttons for navigating forward and backward much like a browser. The key bindings show these buttons are bound to ForwardButtonDn/BackButtonDn mapping to the functions forward/back. What are these keys? Are they on the standard 102 keyboard?

SlickEdit allows commands to be bound to both keyboard keys and mouse buttons. BackButtonDn refers to a mouse event associated with pushing the "back" button down on the mouse (available on modern explorer mice, not on regular 3-button mice).

To change this binding, right-click on the icon and select Properties. Click the "Bind to Key" button.  Then click "Add Key or Mouse Click". You can then enter the key sequence you want to bind or press a mouse button to get a list of mouse events.

You can also see on the Toolbar Control Properties dialog that the icon performs the command "back". So, if you prefer you can go the long way around and use Tools > Options > Key Bindings and bind the "back" command there. Or you can use Toolbar Control Properties to associate a different command with this icon.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yes, this answers my question. I was not familiar with the BackButtonDn mouse.
