How to see the incomplete command in Vim Emulation?
« on: November 28, 2007, 07:21:07 am »
In the real vim, "set showcmd" can drive vim to display an incomplete command in the lower right corner of the Vim window.
Can slickedit also do it?

We don't currently have this implemented, but I have filed a feature request for it and hopefully it will get into the next release.  Is there anything else you would like to see from our Vim emulation?

Sure, thanks a lot Ryan.
In fact, I will be very pleased if slickedit can involve all of the options using ":set ..." :)

Have you ever seen how many :set options there are ;)

I'll see what we can do...are there any that you can identify as being "tier 1" in terms of usefulness?  This might help us in prioritizing, as it is unlikely that every single :set option is going to be implemented in the course of one release.
