You can specify a larger number of items kept for drop-down lists in all forms with combo boxes that have a history. For example, if you increase the history list, the Find and Replace tool window preserves complicated regular expression search/replace strings a bit longer. To increase the list, change the value of the def_maxcombohist configuration variable (Macro > Set Macro Variable) to be the number of items you want to keep in the history.
