what's the state of D language support?
« on: March 06, 2008, 09:22:44 PM »
hi

Because I have no access to beta program, i'll ask this way. Last time Denis said something like D Language Support will come "SE 2008 or 2009 at the latest". [1]

The missing IDE for D is a real problem for its broader adoption. SE team you could play an important part here!

So how does it look?

It's definitely on the radar, but it hasn't been assigned to a release yet. I can say that it won't be in the SlickEdit 2008 release. No one, including myself, can say when future functionality will be delievered. Until it has been checked in, it's still subject to changing priorities.

I'll make a note to look at this for the SlickEdit 2009 release.
