View Pushed Bookmarks
« on: April 08, 2008, 01:40:36 PM »
Last week's tip described Pushed Bookmarks. Here are a few more tips about this feature.

Pushed Bookmarks do not appear in the Bookmarks tool window. However, in SlickEdit 2008, you can view the Pushed Bookmark stack: from the main menu, click Search > Bookmark Stack, or use the bookmark_stack command. This lets you navigate to a pushed bookmark deeper in the stack.

There is also an option to display an indicator in the left margin at the location of each pushed bookmark in your code. To enable the Pushed Bookmark indicator (which appears as a blue Bookmark bitmap), from the main menu, click Tools > Options, then select Editing > Search in the tree, and set the Show pushed bookmarks option to True.
