wfont-zoom-in and wfont-zoom-out

That is a great trick, I immediately started using it.  I think seeing the high level view of a files structure is a great way to quickly navigate around.

I was glad to see that moving to a different buffer in the same view used the 'unzoomed' version.  However, when you go back to the buffer I was disappointed to see that any previous zoom is lost.   It would be great if the zoom of a buffer could be remembered (at least while it is open in SE).

Thanks -andy

Yup, that is indeed handy.  Thanks!

Interesting.  The zoom remains active for me.

Hmmm - that is weird.   Is there a setting that is controlling this?   I couldn't see anything readily obvious.

Just off the top of my head...  save_settings ?  I fired SE up and found my keybindings were no longer bound & realized I forgot to save_settings.  So I re-bound and saved.  And did NOT notice that it changed when I changed buffers.  @asipe - have you saved settings yet?  Just a thought.

Yep, I turned of SE and saved the settings.  It now saved the zoom regardless of which buffer is in the view - which will work just fine.

Thanks -andy

Perhaps one of you has def_one_file='' and one of you has def_one_file='1'?

The def_one_file setting makes certain window/buffer related settings behave a little differently, at least from the user's perspective.  For example, changing the font for a "file" actually changes it for the window, so if def_one_file='' then it changes the font for all files, but if def_one_file='1' then it changes the font only for the file in the current window.

Not complaining, just explaining.  :)

Very nice.

Bound it to the Ctrl-mouse wheel event, and now it's just like in Word, FireFox, etc.  :)

Just a heads-up.  The minimap feature is now available in the version 23 (now in beta).

I was just going to post that I'm growing fond of the new minimap feature when I saw this 10 year old thread.   I'm glad to see that SE has implemented it in the new v23.
