I was shown a feature (can't find any help on it) where if you click and drag in the edit background a new file is created and ready for (slick-)editing. I found this kind of cool and have used it on several occasions. But I used it once with a bunch of other files opened and found that instead of creating a new file, it opens a second view of the "active buffer". So, if I have foo.c, foo2.c, and foo3.c open and viewing them in the edit window with foo2.c on top, I click-and-drag a new file and I get a second copy of foo2.c.
Is this a bug or a feature? What is the rationale if it is a feature?
Just wondering,
Dan
