Quickly Diff the Current Buffer (diff-with)
« on: May 15, 2008, 01:46:46 pm »
Use the diff-with command to quickly diff the current buffer with another file. For example, if you're editing the file /src/13.0/myproject/DogHouse.cpp, you can type diff-with /tmp/ on the SlickEdit command line, and SlickEdit will find DogHouse.cpp in your /tmp directory and compare the two files. The diff-with command is convenient and faster to set up than the diff command or the DIFFzilla® interface (Tools > File Difference).
