[Fixed in hotfix 26] replace bug under linux ?
« on: May 22, 2008, 06:02:54 pm »
When I use the replace windows in SE 13, to replace "eFile" by "EFile" (And checking "Match case"), my source code is fully modified (SE display his title in red, and modifications are done) but the status bar display : "String not found" and not the number of replacement.

I'm not able to reproduce this in a Windows build, I'm always getting the "Replaced N occurrences" message after a Replace, and someone is also checking behind me on the Linux builds, but there should be little difference on the platforms.  So, the standard questions follow:

List all the options you are using (Wrap, Match Whole Word, Regular Expressions)?
Replacing in selection or current buffer?
Using the tool-window Find and Replace with Replace, Replace All, or Preview All?  And this is just Replace, not Replace in Files?
Is this reproducible using command-line replace (or c command) or Quick Replace commands?
Could you send/attach sample file?
Could you record a macro and send the recorded commands, so I can test all of the options and see if another command is running afterwards?

I am not able to reproduce the bug, after applying hotfix 26.
The bug happened in find in all files but now is gone.
Thanks
