where is the "symbol" window?
« on: June 03, 2008, 03:55:42 am »
Hi, Guys:
Please see the attached screen capture from slickedit web link, http://www.slickedit.com/demo/high/CodeNavigation/CodeNavigation.html
We see that there is one "symbol" window on the bottom of the screen; it seems as "preview" window; but I don't find any of informations abut this "symbol" window in the tools menu. My question is where is the "symbol" window?

Thanks
Kenneth Zhheng

Use 'View>Toolbars' and select 'Preview'. Alternatively you can r-click any visible toolbar/tool window to get the same list.

Thank your reply for it.  :)But please see the attached picture and notice this button text "symbol" in the docking tab. If we use 'View>Toolbars' and select 'preview'; the button text is "preview" but not "symobl".

Thanks.

They are one and the same.  In previous verions that tab did say Symbol.

Just to add two cents... this change was made in version 12.0 (SlickEdit 2007). Please accept our apologies for the confusion due to the slightly outdated demo. I'll see if we can get that updated.
