SlickEdit & Borland Kylix
« on: August 31, 2006, 11:08:38 pm »
Hello all -

I am interested in using SlickEdit as a replacement for Kylix. I have used Kylix mostly for non-GUI console applications for a variety of web services and MySQL access. As Kylix support is sadly lacking in later kernel versions, I'd like to be able to use SlickEdit instead of the Borland IDE. I'm most interested in being able to use autocompletion and the Borland compiler (it's just the GUI that doesn't work anymore).

What I'd like to know is:
Has anyone done this before?
What steps would I take to have my Kylix libraries and project files recognized by SlickEdit?

Thanks in advance!
