A More Intuitive Binding for Redo
« on: August 05, 2008, 02:30:09 PM »
Another great tip from one of our SlickEdit developers:

Bind the redo command to Ctrl+Shift+Z in CUA emulation.  The default binding for redo in CUA is Ctrl+Y, which is both clumsy to type and really not intuitive.  Logically, if Ctrl+Z is undo, then Ctrl+Shift+Z should be redo.  Doing this will replace the default binding for the zoom_window command, but given the choice, I'll take redo every time.
