I'm trying to fine tune the display elements on the page, and I gotten most basic elements to color-code correctly.

But I was not able to get it to color code:

$                (scalar variables to one color)
@               (Array variables to another color)
%               (Hash Variable to another color)
functions     (functions using different color)

Anyone ever get that kind of fine grain control to work?
So far, $, @, % variables in perl are linked to screen element "Keyword" in Appearance->Colors.
Is there a way to make it link under a different screen element?

I've been messing around with the  Appearance->Colors   and  Languages->Scripting_Languages->Perl->Color_Coding
and can not get it to work.

Basically, I want to get different datatypes, having different colors.

Anyone know how to do this?

And I forgot, I had trouble figuring out how to change the color of an assignment operator,
such as:

==

.=

Appearance->Colors->Operator didn't work for me.

Any hints?
