@Clark Yes, I afraid there is still a problem.
Didn't know that there was a fix for that in v11.02, but it confirms my presumption that it happens very rarly since upgrading. In the last few weeks it happend only once ... IIRC
Just to ensure that we're talking (?) about the same problem:
I mean the 'copy and paste being out of sync' issue.

You know, now that mgweeks mentions it, I've only recently got this problem. and I did install hotfixes recently.  I did not install all of them, I cherry-picked them.  I can get the exact list on Wednesday if it can help in any way.

FWIW: I just finished applying all the latest hotfixes (choosing the ....cumulative... package), and my background search feature also broke. The suggestion to backup and delete the vslick.stu file appears to have fixed the problem.

Just to add in that I'm having this same problem. I'll try the solution later (and I'm sure it'll work), but it'd sure be nice if there were an official fix for this or someone could provide a less drastic solution.
