Author Topic: VSE14.0.0.7 redlines on large perl script file with coloring enabled  (Read 1788 times)

1) Open large text file (in my case, ~31MBytes)
2) Add "__DATA__" to the top of file
3) Save file as
4) System redlines and remains unresponsive (for > 2 minutes, then I gave up)

I turned off coloring for perl as a work-around. 
Maybe coloring should be turned off by default until these performance issues are solved?
