Where is Tools>Options>File Extensions in SlickEdit 14
« on: April 12, 2009, 07:54:28 pm »
A lot of the documentation in SlickEdit 14 refer to Tools>Options>File Extensions, but all I can see is Tools.Options...File Options.

In particular, I want turn off line numbers in my build window. There was another thread here that talks about turning off this option by going to "Tools>Options>File Extensions", but must just be missing it in SE14.

Any help would be appreciated.

In tools -> options , type "line number" (no quotes) in the search text at the top, then select "slickedit languages" -> process, and un-check "line numbers".  Also you can type "file extension" in the search text and you'll find the file extension manager.
