SlickEdit v11 key bindings
« on: April 27, 2009, 07:07:31 PM »
I recently installed SlickEdit v11 on a new Linux box after my old one died. I have the old drive in my new box as a secondary drive. Following the installation, I have no key bindings. Is there some file I can copy from the old drive to the new one to get them back? Failing that, the one I miss most is one that allows me to open a file in my project by name without specifying its location. Anyone know the name of that dialog? To make a new key binding you have to know the name of the function to which you want to bind. I haven't even been able to find that dialog via the menus.

Thanks.

I think it's the 'project-load' command.
Try to find the config directory of your old SE installation and copy the whole thing into the config dir of your new installation. Should be in '~ /.slickedit/config' but I'm not sure since I'm on Windows since a long time.
Good luck, HS2
