Okay, this is driving me insane. If you create a project with the following structure:

Code: [Select]
                       slickedit stuff...

And have a main.cpp with these contents:

Code: [Select]
#include <cstdlib>

int main()

Then go into project->project properties->tools->execute and change the 'Run from dir:' field from %rw to '/home/myname' then build and execute the project the workspace path will be printed out like the afore mentioned field had not been changed.

As you can imagine, this makes working with SE on any project of any amount of complexity near impossible.

What am I doing wrong?

I guess that's a 'file a bug report' then?

A defect has been filed for this. Hopefully, we'll be able to fix this in our next release, due out in early Summer...but there are no guarantees.

As a workaround, you should be able to address this by unchecking "Build first" and then putting in the full path to the executable.
