the system color is in error for string
« on: July 16, 2009, 01:45:41 am »
while there are some double quotation marks in the string, its system color is incorrect.
for example:
Quote
   if (NULL == fileName)
        return FALSE;

    return (wcslen (fileName) == wcscspn (fileName, L"<>?\\/\":|*"));

Looks correct to me.

Can you post a screenshot of the sample (i.e. where it is colored wrong), and a screenshot of the sample without the double quotation mark in the string (i.e. where it is colored right)?

What language?
What file extension?
What color settings?
What are the Color Coding \ Strings settings for the language?  (Tools|Options, Languages\{language node}\Color Coding, Strings tabs).

sorry, the allowed attachment size is limited. my snapshot cannot upload. my means is that if have one double quotation mark in the string, slickedit think there are three double quotation marks so that display with the color of 'Unterminated String'.
