Eclipse "quick fix" feature and SlickEdit Core
« on: October 18, 2009, 05:53:29 PM »
Hi,

the built in Eclipse editor for Java provides a set of quick fixes for several problems - see attached screenshot.
Is it possible to have this feature also enabled with SlickEdit Core?
I am not a big fan of the built in Eclipse editor but this feature is really slick. If it is not yet available this would be a feature request.

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks for the feedback  :).  This was looked at for Core 3.5.0, but we couldn't fit it in with the overview ruler implementation and everything else.  It's not a trivial task, as those features are obviously specific to the JDT editor, but the hope is that we can extend the functionality to our editor as well.

I will add your comments to the already existing feature request, and hopefully we can get something done for the next major release.  We wouldn't have time to do something like this in a point release (if that were to happen).
