DTD processing errors
« on: October 28, 2009, 03:23:15 am »
Greetings,

I am hoping someone can help me resolve this issue I'm having.

I frequently need to open XML files which have a DTD defined but not located in the right place on my workstation. I'm reading the XML files from zipped sets of configuration files where the DTD isn't included. A typical file might reference a DTD like:

<!DOCTYPE CONFIGSPEC SYSTEM "../../dtd/SomeDTD.dtd">

When the DTD isn't found I get an annoying pop-up error window. Is there a way I could suppress this error popup window? Or, is there a way I could specify a default search path for DTDs that I could populate with commonly used DTDs so it doesn't happen as often?

Thanks.

Graeme
