posting errors
« on: February 25, 2010, 11:29:25 AM »
For the last two nights I've had problems posting messages to the forum  - I get access denied, permission forbidden "index.php"  or something.  By trial and error I found if I removed a particular (innocuous) line from the post the spurious error would go away.  Using google chrome on Win XP.

Anyone else getting this problem?

I've had similar problems with the forum for two years, I've posted about the problems.
For example, one word that causes failures is "s u b s t r" without the spaces.

yep.  I think they've fixed the substr problem - if not, I'll soon find out...
