How to search only in files within a project
« on: October 19, 2006, 11:46:24 PM »
Hello,

I am trying to do a search only within the files beloging to a certain project.  In the "Find in Files" dialog box, in the "Look in" field, I select <Project>.  But I get no output in the Search window.  However, when I select "<Current Buffer>"  or "<All Buffers>", I do get something.

Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong, or what I should do to get it working.

Regards,
Aha.

Some more suggestions - the first line in the search window should tell you what it's searching for
e.g.
Find all "static", "<Project>", "*.e;*.sh"

tells me it's looking in *.e and *.sh files.  Do you have the correct file extensions selected and does the project toolbar show that your project has the files you think it has?
