I am using SlickEdit to write cfm files and I have it set up to always use tabs: NEVER expand tabs with spaces.  And yet, it still does it, especially when I hit Enter at the end of a line.  The auto-indent on the next line is all spaces, not tabs.

Regular tabbing from the beginning of a line is also often converted to tabs.  If I notice this has started happening, I can close the file and re-open it to go back to using tabs.  It simply forgets that tabs are tabs and not sets of spaces.

How to I fix or get around this bug?  As stated, I have "Indent with tabs" checked and "Syntax indent" selected.

I am using version 14.0.2.2
