Grey out stirngs..
« on: October 26, 2006, 05:49:11 pm »
Hello,

Is it possible in SE to grey out , or highlight strings in different colors?  For example in the line below:

printf("Hello world\n");

The string "Hello world\n"  would be in a highlighted color?

Regards,
Aha.

I'm going to assume that this isn't an April Fools Day joke lost in the ether for 6 months.  I'm also going to assume that your file where this is happening has an extension that is recognized by SlickEdit as a language of some kind.  Since it's printf(), I assume your language is C/C++.
Tools -> Options -> Color...
Select String in the Screen element list.
Modify settings to look however you want.
Click OK.
