15.0.0.6: Files/Buffers toolbar sorting issue
« on: May 30, 2010, 12:39:07 pm »
When double clicking on a file in the "Buffers" tab in the "Files" toolbar on Linux, the list box is resorted in a different manner. The result is often that what you just clicked no longer under the mouse.

This is easy to reproduce by:
1. Make sure the "Buffers" tab of the "Files" toolbar is visible and that the entries are sorted by the "Name" column.
2. Open three new files from the shell: vs  Aa1.txt aa2.txt Aa3.txt; These will now appear in numerical order since the list box is sorted in a case insensitive way.
3. Double click on any of the files and the items in the list box is reordered.

The problem related to FileListEditFile() calling FileListUpdateOpenFiles and nobody doing _TreeSortCol(). Adding a tree_wid._TreeSortCol(); after the tree_wid.FileListUpdateOpenFiles(); line in FileListEditFile() makes the symptoms go away.

Kind Regards,
 knut

I just filed a defect for this.  We should have this squared away for 15.0.1.  Thanks for the report.
