"registered" meaning owner of a paid license to use slickedit.

You have to register to use the trial right?  I think trial users should be able to post... I know it made a big difference during my trial.

Good point.  Posts by trial users could go through moderation or the SlickEdit support system.

We also want to be able to talk to folks who just have questions about SE...or are thinking about trying one of our products.  I agree that this is becoming an annoying problem, though...:/

Posting should be limited to people will accounts in the forum. Account creation should use methods to stop bots.
