Print margin wrap
« on: June 15, 2010, 06:43:21 pm »
I'm trying to print .cpp code in portrait, 8pt Courier New.  My Settings/Appearance/General/Vertical Line Column is 112, as is Languages/C-C++/Word Wrap/Right.

How do I get the printer to wrap at source column 112, instead of 85, as it's doing now?  There seems to be no settings in the print dialog.

Thanks!

Printer font and editor font are only slightly related.  If you go into the settings on the printer dialog, you can adjust the font size for printing.  (If' often found it useful to preview the printout there as well).

You can also change the print to landscape there to get a wider printout.

One of those might help you out.

What version are  you using? When I bring up the "File -> Print..." dialog, the 'General' tab has three number fields that I can modify -- the last of which is "Columns per Line".  (SlickEdit v15)

I'm using 14.0.2.2, but putting my order in for v15 this week.  Looks like I'm going to get an excellent improvement!!!

Cheers,
Chuck
