Hi SlickEdit,
Like many of your users, I have been waiting for years for you to do a native (non-X11) version of SlickEdit for Mac. Today I learned that the Mac version of UltraEdit is nearing beta. I will be evaluating it seriously, only because I've almost given up on SlickEdit doing the right thing for Mac users.
Please - reconsider. Your product is still awesome, even though you've been stalled technically for several years. I hope you will take on some serious refactoring projects soon. Redo your core so it can be modernized and run natively on Mac.
