Perl debugging on remote host
« on: July 30, 2010, 07:43:45 pm »
I'd like to be able to debug Perl code running on a remote host using SE's GUI, but I'm not quite sure how to set it up.  Has anyone had any experience with this?

See the help topic "Running and Debugging Perl" Read the whole thing. Some notes:

* Make sure you create a Perl project around your source.

* I do not recommend using the Cygwin 'perl'. Cygwin ported script interpreters (perl, python, etc.) have issues when passing DOS-style paths.
